Financing Plan

Humphreys University participates in the Principles of Excellence established under Executive Order 13607. In support of this commitment, the University provides a College Financing Plan (CFP) to help students understand educational costs and available financial resources.

The College Financing Plan (formerly known as the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet) is a standardized form developed by the U.S. Department of Education that allows students to compare the cost of attendance and financial aid offers across institutions.

Additional information about the CFP is available here:
https://www.ed.gov/higher-education/paying-college/college-financing-plan

How the CFP Is Provided

A College Financing Plan is generated as part of the admissions and financial aid process using available institutional information.

  • Students receive an initial CFP based on estimated costs and known funding sources.
  • If a FAFSA is submitted, the CFP will be updated to reflect federal financial aid eligibility

Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not required to receive a CFP; however, it is required to determine eligibility for federal student aid programs.

A Student Account Specialist is available to review the CFP and answer any questions.

Accessing Your CFP

Your personalized College Financing Plan will be provided through your financial aid portal and/or direct communication from the Student Services Office. Notifications will be sent to your Humphreys University email account.

VA Education Benefits and Transfer Credit

Students planning to use VA education benefits must submit:

  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.
  • Official Joint Services Transcripts (JST), if applicable.

Transfer credit is evaluated and applied toward the student’s declared program of study. In accordance with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requirements, VA education benefits may only be used for courses required for program completion.

Important Information

  • Costs listed in the CFP are estimates and subject to change
  • Financial aid is contingent upon meeting all eligibility requirements
