Time to Graduate

Congratulations on your academic accomplishment! You are close to the finish line and we applaud all the hard work, dedication, and effort you’ve invested to make this happen. Here you will find all the resources and links you need to receive your diploma and participate in the graduation ceremony.

Our 2024 graduation ceremony takes place:

Saturday, June 15, 2024 – 9:00 a.m.

Graduation Checklist

Follow these steps to ensure you graduate and receive your diploma in a timely manner. If you have any questions, your academic advisor or the Registrar’s Office are available to assist.

Meet with your academic advisor.

Meet with your academic advisor and receive confirmation that you are eligible to graduate.

Order your diploma.

Pay your diploma fee. Diplomas can be mailed or picked up at the Registrar’s Office. Diplomas are not released until account balances are paid in full. Diplomas are distributed four to six weeks after the degree conferral date.

Notification of graduation participation.

Notify us if you will or will not be participating in the annual graduation ceremony by completing the Graduation Participation Form. Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 12, 2024.​

Complete counseling with Student Services.

Complete your financial aid exit counseling and settle any outstanding balances with Student Services.

Complete graduate survey.

Bachelor’s Student Survey is available online here. Master’s Student Survey is available online here. Please process and submit once you have completed your last quarter.

How do I know if I meet the qualifications to graduate?

Meet with your academic advisor.

Your academic advisor will counsel you and confirm you are ready to receive your degree. Your advisor will submit your name to the Registrar’s Office. The Registrar’s Office will contact you through your student email about your graduation eligibility.

How do I order my diploma?

Diplomas can be ordered and purchased here.

Diplomas can be mailed or picked up at the Registrar’s Office. Diplomas are not released until account balances are paid in full. Diplomas are distributed four to six weeks after the degree conferral date. Degree conferral dates are finalized after the quarter ends.

$100 – Commencement Fee – Flat rate, all inclusive.
$25 – Non-participant, Diploma only
$20 – Replacement Diploma
$15 – Shipping fee for gown and/or diploma

How do I order personalized products?

If you would like to order a class ring, contact your local jeweler. If you would like order personalized products like invitations, contact Jostens. Visit their website at college.jostens.com or call 1-800-854-7464.

How can I participate in the annual graduation ceremony?

Complete the Graduation Participation Form. Graduation caps and gowns are ordered prior to the annual ceremony. You will be notified by the Registrar’s Office through your student email when your graduation cap and gown arrives. Deadlines do apply and fees are non-refundable. Deadline to order graduation gown is Friday, April 12, 2024.​ Please pay fees for participating in graduation ceremony when ordering diploma.

Caps, gowns, and diplomas (if eligible) can be picked up through drive by pickup between:

4:00-5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 29, and Thursday, May 30, in Greg’s Place on the Stockton Campus.

Modesto Campus students will pick up caps, gowns, and diplomas by appointment.

Law School students will pick up cap, gowns, and diplomas by appointment.

How do I settle my financial aid and fiscal responsibilities before I leave the university?

​Call Student Services or email your Student Account Specialist to make sure you have completed all of your financial aid paperwork.

Make sure your fiscal account is clear and you do not owe an outstanding balance.  Any outstanding balances will keep you from receiving your diploma.

How do I complete a survey about my time at Humphreys University?

Complete the appropriate online survey during your last quarter.
