A first-year student is currently in high school or has graduated from high school but has not enrolled in a regular session at a college or university. If you’ve completed college courses during high school (through summer after graduation), you are considered a first-year applicant.

Students can get the help and guidance they need without feeling intimidated and overwhelmed. If you have difficulty with a particular class, there is help. There is always help- for free. Financial Aid

We participate in the federal financial aid program commonly referred to as FAFSA. Our Student Services department makes the financial aid process simple. They know it can be intimidating, so they are there to help you every step of the way. We also offer a Freshmen Scholarship for incoming Freshman who qualify. The Freshmen Scholarship provides students with no student loan debt or out-of-pocket tuition expenses.

Steps for Admission

1. Submit application.

Submit the Humphreys University Undergraduate Application online along with applicable fee.

2. Complete financial aid.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate award year(s) to determine eligibility for grants, work study, and student loans. The FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Schedule an appointment with a financial aid officer if assistance is needed. School Code: 001212

3. Submit high school information.

Submit one official, unopened transcript, GED scores, or the equivalent to the Office of the Registrar.

4. Take placement test.

Successful completion of the reading and writing placement exams are required for enrollment into Humphreys University. An admission counselor will make appropriate arrangements if the placement examination is needed.

5. Register for courses.

Register for first quarter courses with an admission counselor.
