Humphreys University is approved under federal law for the training of veterans. Veterans whose entitlement under one act has expired may still be eligible for benefits. Veteran’s benefits may also be available to survivors (spouse) and dependents, under certain circumstances. Full information can be obtained from the Veterans Administration or the University Registrar’s Office.

The University will conduct an evaluation of previous education and training, grant appropriate credit, shorten the duration of the program, and notify the Veterans Administration and student accordingly.

Veterans Shopping Sheet

Humphreys University has voluntarily agreed to adopt the procedures set out in Executive Order 13607, Establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouse, and other Family Members.  We will provide a Financial aid Shopping Sheet that describes the educational costs and financial aid available to help those students meet those costs.

Requirements to receive a Financial Aid Shopping Sheet:

  1. Process a Humphreys University admissions application.
  2. Process a FAFSA. Add Humphreys University as one of your school codes.  001212

When you receive your financial aid award, our financial aid counselor for VA students will contact you and provide you with your financial aid shopping sheet.  The financial aid counselor will review it with you and answer any questions you may need answered.

Please note that students are required to submit official transcripts from any previous colleges attended.  Official copies of Joint Services Transcripts are also required.  Your transfer credits will be specifically applied to the major of your choosing.  Submitting these transcripts will ensure proper usage of your VA Education benefits. The VA will only pay for classes that are required toward your degree.
