College Financing Plan

Voluntarily adopting Executive Order 13607, we promise to provide a College Financing Plan that describes the educational costs and financial aid available to help you understand your options.

Humphreys University is committed to providing prospective students who self-identify as United States veterans or dependents of veterans with information on our cost of attendance, the financial aid process, available financial aid to help offset educational costs, and consumer information by adopting the Principles of Excellence.

The College Financing Plan (formerly known as the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet) is a standardized form developed by the United States Department of Education to simplify the information students receive from higher education institutions about educational costs and financial aid, allowing them to easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about which institution to attend.

When you submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) a College Financing Plan is created. It will include any grants and scholarships (gift aid), Federal Direct Loans, and Federal Work-Study (self-help aid) that you are eligible for. The costs listed are subject to change and aid is contingent upon the student meeting all eligibility requirements.  Your personalized College Financing Plan will be available on your FA portal. Your Humphreys University email address account will be the only one to receive notification of your College Financing Plan and financial aid eligibility.

Mai Xiong, your Student Account Specialist, will contact you to thoroughly address any of your questions about the College Financing Plan.

Please note that students are required to submit official transcripts from any previous colleges attended.  Official copies of Joint Services Transcripts are also required.  Your transfer credits will be specifically applied to the major of your choosing.  Submitting these transcripts will ensure proper usage of your VA Education benefits. The VA will only pay for classes that are required toward your degree.
