Security & Maintenance focuses on providing a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.
The mission of Maintenance & Security is to provide professional and courteous service in order to protect the safety and security of all members of the University community, including students, faculty, and staff who seek a safe learning and working environment. We strive to achieve this through a community-friendly approach that includes visibility of security personnel, preventive patrols, and easy accessibility.
Our department’s mandate is to support the University in its mission by providing exceptional services that promote a safe and well ordered environment for our community. We aspire to carry out our mission in a compassionate manner guided by the following values: respect, integrity, service and excellence.
Efforts to keep Humphreys University a safe and non-threatening environment cannot be left solely to Campus Maintenance and Security staff and other University officials. Safety is a responsibility shared by all of us. We pledge that we will do everything possible to preserve a safe and enjoyable environment at Humphreys University.
What we do
Ensure safe learning and working environments.
Provide students, faculty, staff, administration, and guests with well-maintained buildings and grounds.
Provide escorts for students to parking lots or classes.
Respond to emergencies and non-life threatening situations.
Lost & found
Assist with helping to recover lost and found property.
Reports and Statistics
The Security Report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus.
2020 Security Report
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, requires that all colleges and universities disclose crimes that have occurred on their campus to the federal government. These records are available for public review.
Daily Crime Log
A daily crime log is published in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. It contains incidences of criminal activity reported to Humphreys University. The daily logs lists crime, alleged crimes, and fire incidents that occur on campus or in areas immediately adjacent to campus. The logs are available online and or by request at 209-478-0800.

The Office of Admissions assists students through the application and admission processes so that they can become undergraduate or graduate students at HU. Administrative Services addresses issues in a manner to facilitate the ethical development of students, to encourage respect for the campus community, to hold students accountable for violations of the Student Conduct Code, and to ensure students’ needs are being met through all administrative resources. Support for information technology is strong across the campus. Computer technicians are available to assist students, staff, and faculty with issues arising from utilizing campus computer technology. Learn More
Library & Learning Center
The Library serves students, faculty, and the community on campus. Visitors are able to use study rooms and access the library’s databases. The Learning Center provides students with tutoring help and support in various subjects including English, accounting, and math. Learn More
Student records are managed by the Office of the Registrar. Staff is available to assist you with veteran’s services, enrollment and registration, drop/add, grades, transcripts, holds, withdrawals, and your diploma. Learn More

Student Services is responsible for administering traditional federal and state financial aid programs including grants, loans, and work-study.
