Associate in Arts in Legal Studies
96 Units | 24 Courses
The Associate in Arts prepares students for entry positions in law offices or any legal-related fields of work, including as a paralegal. Completion of the AA also meets the eligibility requirements to sit for the NALA Certified Paralegal exam.
Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies
181 Units | 45 Courses
The Bachelor of Arts is designed to teach both procedural and substantive areas of the law and meets the requirements of the State of California regarding the Paralegal profession. This degree prepares students for entry positions in law offices or any legal-related fields of work, from legal assistant, paralegal, private investigator or arbitrator, mediator, or conciliator.
Master of Legal Studies
40 Units | 10 Courses
The Master of Legal Studies graduate program can be beneficial to professionals in a variety of fields and other occupational, vocational, or professional endeavors that involve negotiations, regulations, or working with legal issues including: Healthcare, Compliance, Business, Education, Law Enforcement, Public Administration, Government Regulation, and Social Services.
Juris Doctor
120 Units | 40 Courses
Our juris doctor is designed to instill an understanding of law as well as analytical skills developed through a combination of scholastic and practical education. Our Juris Doctor prepares students for the California State Bar Examination and the practice of law. Many law students secure a legal education to assist them in business, civic, and related pursuits.
Courses develop student’s proficiency in legal research, writing, and legal drafting.
Students will be able to use appropriate forms related to litigation and trial procedures.
Students can use a degree in Legal Studies as a stepping stone to gain entrance into our Drivon School of Law—and through our Legal Studies to Law School transfer program, are able to finish their law school and undergraduate education a year early.
