OVER 110 YEARS OF EDUCATIONAL DEDICATION

Humphreys College is an independent California institution of higher education devoted to providing effective instruction and related learning experiences,Main Building - Stockton Campus with campuses in Stockton and Modesto. Certificates, associate, baccalaureate, and juris doctor degrees are awarded in a number of fields within four broad academic areas: law, business, human services, and liberal arts.

Over the 110-year history of the college, students have identified a number of reasons why they like to attend Humphreys:

  • small class sizes — fewer than 20 students on average
  • personal approach — professors work directly with students
  • career-oriented courses — in addition to general education
  • dedicated faculty — qualified and current in their subjects

DISTINCTIVE FEATURE OF ACADEMIC OFFERINGS

Most colleges offer either associate or bachelor degrees, but not both. At Humphreys, students can earn a two-year associate degree and then continue to earn a four-year bachelor degree,Main Building - Modesto Campus providing them with the flexibility to manage their educational goals. This stair-step approach to education has helped many students start at the certificate level, proceed to the associate level, and finish with a bachelor degree.

In a few instances, some students went on to earn their law degree at the Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law.

Humphreys College offers a number of undergraduate degree and certificate programs in areas related to law, business, human services, and liberal arts and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
