Mission Statement

The office of Admissions is committed to providing accurate, pertinent, and up-to-date information regarding the College, its academic programs, admission requirements, resources, and student services, policies and procedures and tuition costs.

Office Hours

For your convenience, the Admissions Office, located in the main building on the Stockton campus, is open during the following hours:

Monday through Thursday
7:30 AM to 8:00 PM

Friday
7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Modesto

For your convenience, the Admissions Office, located in the main building on the Modesto campus, is open during the following hours:

Admissions

The Admission Office provides the following services related to the admission and enrollment process:

  • Assistance in the qualification of student interest to program of study
  • Assistance with scheduling student's first quarter of classes

Application

Complete and submit an application for admission along with the required application fee. Please refer to the Schedule of Tuition and Fees for information regarding fees and other educational expenses, including payment requirements and due dates. International students should use this application for admission

Financial Aid

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate award year(s); schedule an appointment with a financial aid officer if necessary.

High School Information

Provide official transcripts or proof of GED completion. Have documents sent directly to Humphreys College, attention Registrar.

Transfer Students

Request official academic transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities be sent directly to Humphreys College, attention Registrar.

Placement Test

You must take a placement exam, unless you have successfully (grade of C or higher) completed a college-level English and mathematics course at another college or university. The results of the exam are used to determine your placement in English and math courses at Humphreys College. An admission counselor will schedule a time for you to take the placement exam if needed.

Application

Complete and submit a Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law application for admission along with the required application fee. Please refer to the Schedule of Tuition and Fees for information regarding tuition cost and other educational expenses, including payment requirements and due dates.

LSAT

Register for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) by the regular registration deadline. Please refer to the LSAT information booklet or website for information pertaining to registration, dates, testing sites, and fees. LSAT scores will be accepted if taken within a four year period. If the test is taken more than once, only the highest score will be considered.

Transcripts

Request and send 2 sets of official academic transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities to Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law, attention Registrar.

Letter of Recommendation

Regular applicants should have at least one letter of recommendation; special applicants should have three letters of recommendation. These letters should speak to the applicant's potential to practice law and/or the applicant's academic and professional abilities. Letter(s) should be sent directly to Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law, attention Registrar.

Special Applicants Only

Register and complete three College Level Examination Program(CLEP) tests. English Composition (or English Composition with Essay) is required. Results should be sent directly to Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law, attention Registrar.

Financial Aid

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the appropriate award year(s) to determine eligibility for work study and student loans. Schedule an appointment with a financial aid officer for further information.
